My booked my hotel a month prior to the date of my vacation. I arrived to my hotel at 11:30 july 1 and the hotel was closed down.

I call booking.con customer service line and I waited on hold for 30mins. And spoke with a rep and she then told me she was reaching out to the manager of the hotel to verify that it was shut down and the I had to wait 30 more mins. Now it is 12am I and tired I have my 4 children stating they need to use the restroom after driving 3.5 hours. I ask to speak to a supervisor and she stated that I need to look for hotel myself.

I angry because you book in advance to avoid things like that. After about an hour and a half the emailed me the name of another hotel with was more than I already paid. After they email it to me they asked me to book it myself and call them after. I booked the hotel and call them after and they then advised me to call back when I checked out.

It was very fustracting to have to deal with the at 12am and 1am.

I feel that better procedures are needed to situation similar to mine.

I am very disappointed. The issue with my refund has yet to be resolved.

Monetary Loss: $374.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
