Possibility of changing one day of reservation.

I have a reservation for a house in Miami Gardens on February 18 to 25. As it turns out my flight is a very late one which will not put us in Miami till the 19th.

What I need to know is can I have one day removed from this reservation?

I would like it to have the 19th through the 25th instead of the 18th through the 25th if at all possible. Thank you so much for any info you can give me.

According to the information stated at tripadvisor.com, Booking.com is just a pass on your card details to the hotel, they don't take any money. However, they should help you to communicate with them. You may try to reach out to Booking Customer Service:

According to booking.com, you pay them a set percentage on each reservation made through their platform. The Booking.com commission percentage varies per country. Their global commission rate average is 15%.

According to the 'Can I make changes to a reservation?' article posted at booking.com, it is possible to make changes to the reservation. Use confirmation email or Booking.com profile for the date changes before the check-in date.
Date changes after check-in:
  • log in to your booking.com account;
  • click the reservation number or guest name;
  • select an option from the menu on the right-hand side of the screen, under 'Update this reservation'.

According to the Booking.com Help section, when a reservation is made on booking.com, it should be immediately confirmed by email or on the Pulse app. You can also check your reservations:
  • on the Extranet
  • in the Pulse app

Extranet:
  • click on the Reservations tab;
  • filter your bookings based on the date of arrival, departure or reservation.

You can check the following information:
  • guest name(s) and/or booker’s name;
  • arrival and departure dates;
  • reservation reference number;
  • reservation status;
  • date the reservation was made;
  • total reservation price the guest pays total commission you pay Booking.com.

Pulse app:
  • select the Bookings tab on the Pulse app;
  • check your reservations in the calendar overview or use the search box to find upcoming and past reservations.

You can check the following information:
  • arrival and departure dates;
  • reservation reference number;
  • number of nights;
  • number of guests;
  • number of rooms;
  • guest name(s);
  • guest’s Genius status;
  • guest contact details (phone and email);
  • guest’s preferred language;
  • reservation status;
  • total reservation price the guest pays, total commissionable amount, and total commission you pay Booking.com;
  • payment type;
  • room type;
  • price per night;
  • meal plan (if applicable);
  • cancellation policy;
  • extras (e.g. city tax, if applicable);
  • guest messages;
  • reservation notes;
  • booking modification history.

    I am from Lethbridge, Alberta. I am trying to book a trip for my wife and I in the New Year!

    I saw that you guys offer Affirm financing to allow for monthly payments for the trip. But when I go to check out using Affirm they will not let me change my country from USA to Canada. Therefore I am unable to book my trip. What is the problem?
