I am writing to express my concern regarding a rental property advertised on your platform. I am already booked in the apartment located at [4BNB - Donatello Apartment] (dates: 11 April-2024 till 17 April-2024]), if applicable.

However, I have encountered an issue with the advertised price. The advertised details of the apartment did not mention any additional fees. However, upon contacting the property owner, they informed me of hidden fees that were not included in the listing. This lack of transparency is causing me significant confusion and concern.

My Concerns: Hidden fees: The presence of undisclosed fees contradicts the information presented in the listing. Unresponsive owner: My attempts to reach the owner for clarification have been unsuccessful. Customer service hold: Contacting your customer service resulted in being placed on hold with no response. Legitimacy of listing: These factors are leading me to question the legitimacy of the advertised apartment.

Request for Action: To ensure a smooth and secure rental experience, I kindly request your assistance in addressing these concerns: Confirmation of Hidden Fees: Please confirm whether these additional fees are legitimate and authorized by your platform. Owner Communication: If these fees are unauthorized, could you intervene and ensure the owner updates the listing accordingly? I rented a car via booking.com/cars. Even though I PAID THE FULL PRICE IN ADVANCE, when I arrived at the pickup point at the airport, they told me I was too late and my car was not available.

According to them, I was supposed to pick up the car at 11:30, but my flight arrived in the evening and the car was not available anymore.

I had to pay more than double the agreed price again in order to get another car.
I find this totally unacceptable: when paying for a service in advance, that service should be unconditionally available to you. It was not a simple reservation, the full price was already paid.
Booking.com refuses to refund the additional amount I had to pay, and the customer support is terrible: communication is over email and every time a different person replies (so far about 10).
